Camping has been a fun venture for people for many years. Sleeping outside in the fresh air, not constantly needing an electrical device to get by, escaping from the everyday rush of life; several camping activities can help you to relax and enjoy yourself. One of the most entertaining activities to take part in is fishing.
Like camping, fishing can be done with friends and family. If you are going camping and plan on fishing as well, make sure you scout out a place first. Fishing from a boat is alright, especially when renting a cabin on or near a lake. Casting a line from the dock is a safe option for you and those with you.
Included in the supplies for the campsite (tent, firewood, provisions, sleeping gear, extra clothing) gear for fishing should be on the check list. A fishing pole or two and reels, live bait (worms or small fish if you're going for large fish), lures that are shiny or flashy, nets to capture the fish, and, of course, a camera to document success. If fishing in the summer suits your fancy then be sure to bring sunblock or a well fitting fishing hat to protect your face from the sun's reflection off the water. There are sunglasses specially made for fishing in such conditions as well. The most important factor when fishing and camping is to have fun doing it. Kids will love the combination and so will your family members.
